I've recently watched a few of your videos on E-Kits; Is the Efnote Pro the drum set that you guys settled on or is this just the current ekit you are trying out?

I’m both a live audio production and worship musician and I know the feeling but I love serving in my God-given gifts this way even getting to church on Sunday at the crack of dawn and not able to leave until 1:00pm.

Preamps take a very low voltage analog signal and step it up on the desk so that the console has workable input gain. The objective is to match preamp gain so thast you are hitting unity by the time you get to ur outputs.

That box with two XLR cables and the one instrument cable you have three cables. You can make them come from three different directions and to be short enough so that the bass player will always stay in his correct position and wouldn’t roam around the stage.

Yeah.. I have this product and use it for over 4 years now... My only problem is that the multiviewer is not working anymore. I see the grid and audio signal is showing on the monitor, but I don't see the images from my cameras. This is very weird. I looked on the internet and many people have this issue and nobody from blackmagic team offered some solutions. It is not about the firmware, it is not about the signals from the sdi/hdmi... something hardware is gone bad.

The lighting console looked to be onyx by obsidian control systems, or what used to be Martin M series. That is a fantastic lighting control solution. If there was flickering, most likely was due to cable spec not being true DMX so many times churches end up using audio cable for lighting, which is not great. It’s possible that the lighting hardware could have been bad, but point being, that lighting software is a professional grade solution that I highly doubt was the source issue

Feeling that this guy is a little “out of touch” with some things. “It’s not illegal to make hackintosh. Apple makes that available to do.” No. People have found ways around all the red tape, hence “hack” in the name. I’d love for him to explain his understanding of “96k” audio. 😂

Does the EfNote module allow multiple sensitivity profiles to be saved? Thinking that would be a must for a house kit with multiple drummers.

I have a large room dimension, 40m lenght 20m width, and only 8m height. Every surface is heavly reflective (6-7sec), Which part is best to put absorber panels, the ceiling or the walls?

Leave the technology to what is necessary. It's idolatry, worse than any complaint against statues in Catholic churches. This is technology worship.

We've had an efnote pro for over 6 months now. We setup & teardown all on Sunday and not in a large space (fits about 200-300) so doing an acoustic set would have been a LOT of work to get right every week. As the FOH mixer and not the drummer, I am very glad to have the separate channels. While it wasn't obvious to me at the time, that's a must have for me, granted I can't speak to every churches budget. I also appreciate that members of the congregation don't clearly see it as electric and it also allows the drummer be more engaged with the team and not in a box of isolation. One thing I still would love is the ability to load your own samples directly in to the kit. Maybe in an update one day, but not available yet.

Awful….my God deserves the power of an acoustic set, not the sound of a toy. And why 95 decibels??? You go to a concert and everything is 140 decibels and nobody has a problem. You go to church and complain about noise. Stupid Christians.

Hi. Do you know if this can work plugged directly into a pedalboard without a mixer in between? I would like to use it for practicing at home with my pedals without needing a mixer but concerned it might not give enough volume?

played this kit at namm this year and was not impressed. roland’s are still WAYYY better.

you can but a stage of the art acoustic drum kit with drum mics and drum enclosure for the same price. the only downside to that is you need a competent sound engineer to make it sound good which is never the case at local churches.
